Taking a steam after a workout can aid muscle recovery post workout. Steam rooms improve circulation which in turn can help to reduce blood pressure, heal skin tissue and reduce stress. They can also help to boost your immune system and clear congestion.
Adding a steam or sauna to your routine can bring some benefits but beware to read the safety signs and use in the correct way.
Please note: Our steam room and sauna are typically switched on when the gym opens (they may take a few minutes to warm up) and are turned off 15-20mins before the club closes, allowing them to cool and for members to have a chance to shower before the club closes.
